This home-study programme continues to be very popular across both private & public sector organisations.

"Nutrition & Health" leads to a nationally accredited VRQ Qualification, the level 2 "Certificate in Nutrition & Health". Being home-study it enables employers to engage staff with a well-presented course that covers key health related topics whilst not infringing upon work-time.

Employees do not have to attend college at any time. They can do this free programme at home, in their own time and at their own pace.

Course | Programme Structure

  1. Working Concept provide you with all the marketing materials required to promote the availability of this programme to your staff. This includes emails, posters, flyers and where there is high demand a staffed road-show with exhibition stands that are ideally positioned in canteen and reception areas during lunch-breaks.
  2. "Register of Interest Forms" are collated using standard royal mail post and our on-line form.
  3. A supporting local college will come in to your business premises to induct those who have registered their interest. The induction session lasts for approximately 40 minutes and is conducted in group sessions (up to 20 staff per session). Multiple sessions evidently apply to accommodate higher numbers.
  4. Staff are handed their free learning materials at the end of the induction session.
  5. The entire programme lasts for between eight and twelve weeks and a member of staff will get through their programme within this time-frame if they commit approximately 1.5 hours per week.
  6. There are three modules in the course and the college will visit your staff, again in group sessions throughout the programme to ensue that everyone's learning experience is being maximized.
